Space Fact 8 by XF7 Space crew 🚀 In July 2025 astronomers spotted something wild passing through our solar system called 3I ATLAS. It is only the third interstellar object we have ever seen visit us from another star system. 3I ATLAS flies on a hyperbolic path, which means it was not born here and will not stay. As it passed the Sun it woke up, released jets of gas, and grew a glowing tail that telescopes on Earth and even spacecraft near Mars could see in amazing detail.
